		Human Resources Assistant

Perform general clerical duties for Human Resources Department:
- Maintain personnel, medical, short term disability, and workers compensation files.
 - Maintain job postings.
 - Prepare orientation packets.
 - Complete new hire and termination paperwork.
 - Complete verbal and written employment verifications.
 
Recruit and orient new employees for Hourly open positions:
- Screen resumes/applications.
 - Set-up and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates.
 - Conduct new hire orientation for hourly personnel.
 - Coordinate advertisements, job postings, pre-employment physicals, etc.
 
Provide assistance to Human Resources Manager:
- Administer attendance program.
 - Answer general employee questions within the scope of job responsibilities.
 - Coordinate employee relations activities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS (Must have to be considered for the position):
- 2 + years relevant work experience.
 - Strong interpersonal skills. Well organized and decisive.
 - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
 - Strong problem solving skills.
 - High level attention to detail.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
